3 Reasons to Protect Your Wheels with DIAMOND KOTE Ceramic Protection
Our DIAMOND KOTE Ceramic treatment is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of the vehicles wheels (Rims). The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s factory painted surfaces creating an additional layer of protection. Once applied, the Ceramic Coating will protect your painted wheel Rims from dirt and debris, chemical etching, UV damage, Brake dust staining and more. It also creates a hydrophobic surface which makes the entire vehicle much easier to clean.
The Process
Because DIAMOND KOTE is a permanent or semi-permanent protective coating, it must be professionally applied. The process requires training, skill, and attention to detail. First, all surfaces must be meticulously cleaned to remove all contaminants. Decontamination begins with a foam wash and rinse and then all the surfaces are then rubbed with a clay bar to remove any remaining contamination. If there is any paint damage, polishing or a paint correction may also be necessary to correct the imperfections. Once the surface is completely clean, a DIAMOND KOTE primer (surface preparation) is applied. The wheel is then ready for the DIAMOND KOTE treatment to be applied to all surfaces.
